We want you to READ, READ, READ over the summer! A packet full of summer reading suggestions and ideas went home last week.

We will have a Summer Reading Celebration at the beginning of the 2009 – 2010 school year. There are two ways to be invited -

1. Participate in the summer reading program at the Lexington County Public Library. Get your name on the honor roll OR show Mrs. Byrd Fort your public library reading log when we return to school and you will be invited to the celebration!

2. Participate in the No Book Left Unread summer reading program. Just keep track of how many pages you read over the summer on the reading log that was sent home. Bring that reading log to Mrs. Byrd Fort at the beginning of the school year and you will be invited to the celebration!

You don’t have to do both – you can pick one!
