Book Lists!

May 9, 2008

Every now and then, I will post a new book list to the NPES website. Posted this morning… BOOKS ABOUT LIONS! Right now, I will create the book lists based on what is available from the Lexington County Public Library, however, when school starts and our collection is here and ready for checkout, the book lists will be based on BOTH – what you can get from the Lexington County Public Library AND what you can get from the New Providence Elementary School Library Media Center!

I will post a message to the blog to let you know when a new book list has been posted. If you have a request for a book list, as always, please let me know! Comment to this blog or send me an email: npeslmc@gmail.com

Love,

Blog tip!

May 6, 2008

If you leave a comment and don’t see it right away, don’t worry! I get an email when a comment is made and get to read the comment before it shows up on the blog…it’s a good way for me to catch spam!

To read the comments (I am going to reply to you in most cases there), just click where it says “comments” under the blog post you are reading and you’ll see them all!

Love,

Mrs. Byrd Fort

Exciting!

April 8, 2008

The first post for the NPES LMC blog! How exciting!

Today, I returned my opening day “binder” to our book vendor. I sort of wish I had taken a picture of it for the blog! The binder was a huge list of books that are considered to be “core collection” for an elementary school library. I went through and crossed out what I did not think we needed. I think in about a week or so, we will be able to submit the order for purchase! I cannot wait to see all of our new books. It’s going to be a lot of fun unpacking those boxes!
